Edmund Mierzwinski – Edmund Mierzwinski, the consumer program director of U.S. PIRG in Washington, DC is a nationally recognized consumer advocate. Devoting his career to the administration of Public Interest Research Groups or PIRG's, his public interest expertise has benefited countless American consumers. A University of Connecticut graduate, Mierzwinski served as the executive director of ConnPIRG from 1981 to 1988 and was a strong proponent of the Lemon Law.
