Jennifer Hadlock has worked as a Bisexual activist in the Hartford area, is co-founder of Conn-Bi-Nation, and a member of the Stonewall Foundation. She decided to settle in the Hartford area after obtaining multiple masters degrees from UCONN. During the interview describes the story of how she discovered she was bisexual and how she came out to friends and family. She felt the need to establish and work for bisexual rights after realizing that there was discrimination toward bisexual and transgendered individuals, from not only the straight community, but within the gay community as well. In response, she went on to co-found Conn-Bi-Nation and establish bisexual inclusion within other area organizations.
