My sons are my world. They are smart, funny, and daring. I pray every night over them after they fall asleep, that they will grow up to be God-fearing men, that create positive influence in the world, and follow their dreams with all they have. I pray that nothing stops them from obtaining their goals. But the system is not set up for success. Success is certainly possible, yet, systematic racism knocks at the door. We will not let it in. I will train my sons to respect everyone, including law enforcement, but I will not train them to fear them.
