He works as a gay rights activist and hosts a weekly radio show on WWUH called â€œGay Spiritâ€. He has written a book called the â€œAnnals of Gay Spiritâ€ where he documents his years on the radio show and the history of gay liberation in Connecticut. Brown also discusses his years as a founding member of the Kalos Society, where he worked with Canon Clinton Jones and others. During the interview Brown also discusses recumbent bicycles, civil war reenactments, and his views on HIV and AIDS treatments.
