Getting R.E.A.L. About AI: How CCSU Students Can Use AI Ethically for Research & Learning

Research on the Run Workshop - redo of presentation from 9/20/23. On AI usage for students at CCSU, Fall 2023. The Responsible, Ethical, Accountable, and Learning-oriented approach to helping students identify when/if/how to use AI tools as part of their research & learning at CCSU. The bottom line is that students must always follow the rules of their professor's syllabus, as different courses, different disciplines, and different assignments may require different AI usage policies. In addition, plagiarism and cheating, regardless of the method, remains a significant violation of academic integrity and can affect students' long-term success at CCSU and beyond.
