Ernest Abate Interview conducted on 11-6-2008 by Dr. Jerold Duquette, Associate Professor of Political Science. This oral history is part of the John J. Ernest Abate of Stamford, Connecticut, served 4 terms in the General Assembly as a State Representative (1974-82). During his last two terms he served as Speaker of the House of Representatives, and was a key advocate for the Lemon Law's passage in 1982.
