Ernest Abate - November 6, 2008 interview (Lemon Law)

Ernest Abate Interview conducted on 11-6-2008 by Dr. Jerold Duquette, Associate Professor of Political Science.  This oral history is part of the John J. Woodcock III Lemon Law Collection, produced by  CCSU's Center for Public Policy and Social Research under Executive Director, Steve Kliger. Ernest Abate of Stamford, Connecticut, served 4 terms in the General Assembly as a State Representative (1974-82). During his last two terms he served as  Speaker of the House of Representatives, and was a key advocate for the Lemon Law's passage  in 1982.
