Mike Alewitz is a world-renowned muralist and Emeritus Professor at CCSU, whose digital archives were initiated and are under construction at CCSU. Join Professor Alewitz for a slideshow and discussion about how we can successfully preserve history and defend democratic rights against authoritarian assaults.
"The Most Censored Artist in the World” will present his agitprop mural projects (frequently destroyed) created with workers in Ukraine, Iraq, the Occupied Territories and dozens of other sites in the US and internationally. He will also present highlights from the 100+ student murals at CCSU – the largest and finest collection at any university in the world.
